Now On Your iPhone, ReadyForZero Is Ready To Save You From Debt.

A great new app, built for the iPhone, is helping people get out of debt faster. It works just like their credit card stickers, which shame the user out of using their credit card. It basically works the same way for the iPhone app. Whenever a purchase is made, a push notification is sent to the end user, telling them their information and their spending for the day/week. This could be really useful for many people in debt. It is a great financial tool, and I hop to see it flourish on iOS.

In-Class Assignment 5/29

WikiSpaces
I would use WikiSpaces for Social Studies. It would be useful for taking notes, as well as sharing notes. Collaboration in the studying for test could also be implemented. Especially now, when we are going through our notes to study for the Final Exam

Tape.tv Raises $6.2 Million To Begin An International Rollout

Tape.tv is not your new company, that just got started with Kickstarter. This company has been around since mid-2008, and is a mix between Pandora and MTV. It has the usability of Pandora and content like MTV. These videos pander to the users tastes after being used for a while. Like many personalized products, the more you use it, the more specific your content gets. They have recently gained many sponsors in European and Australian regions. The founder, Conrad Fritzsch, says that the company will become more social in later updates. Tape.tv will have many types of content, mostly moving toward comedy. If this kicks off well, soon, this will come to the United States and compete against its inspirations, Pandora and MTV. Hopefully, this works out well for them.

Spotify Drives iTunes Sales

Apparently, Spotify, the music browsing application, can increase iTunes sales. Some sales in creased by $30%! This is huge, since artists can now benefit much more from letting Spotify stream them. Here's how it works. People browse through albums in Spotify, and look for songs they like. If they like it, they are asked if they want to buy it in iTunes. This is how all the revenue has come in. Studies show that people streamed the album with no ads, buy the song in iTunes. This is huge for Apple and Spotify, since they can market it to their liking and make more money to come.
